WCH 2018 M: Sensation – The Dutch team beat Brazil at World Champs after 52 years!

by WoV

It will be a long night for Renan Dal Zotto's boys since they are going to break down this game to the details...

Netherlands - Brazil

Netherlands – Brazil

On the other side, Gido Vermuelen’s team will celebrate this victory tonight since they beat Brazil at the World Championship for the first time in 52 years! The previous win happened in Czechoslovakia in 1966!

Even though the Dutch team was behind by one, they managed to make a sensational comeback and to beat one of the favorites for the gold medal.

What happened to the Brazilian team, no one knows. It is certain that they will have to make an analysis and not to let such things happen again if they want a title.

Wouter Ter Maat had 16 points, while Thijs Ter Horst added 15 and Michael Parkinson 13 in the Dutch team. On the other side, Douglas Souza and Lucas Saatkamp had 13 each, while Wallace de Souza ended the match with 10.
