WCH 2018 W: Dominican Team arrived in Japan

The National team of the Dominican Republic arrived today in Japan, where they will participate at the FIVB 2018 World Championship.

After a long journey of 29 hours, they landed at the Narita International Airport and then the Dominican team continued their travel to Okayama City where they will stay until the start of the WCH.

In Okayama, they will have several friendly matches with the Bulgarian National team and the local Okayama Seagulls team from the First Division of the Japanese National League.  

The Dominican head coach Marcos Kwiek chose the players for the WCH:

Liberos: Brenda Castillo and Larysmer Martinez

Outside hitters: Bethania de la Cruz, Priscilla Rivera, Yonkaira Peña Isabel and Brayelin Martinez

Opposites: Gina Mambru and Gaila Gonzalez

Middle blockers: Annerys Vargas, Candida Arias Perez, Lisvel Eve and Jineiry Martinez

Setters: Niverka Marte and Camil Dominguez
