I don’t agree! The correct dream team would be:

MVP: Tijana Boskovic (SRB)

The Best Opposite: Paola Egonu (ITA)

The Best Setter: Maja Ognjenovic (SRB)

1st Outside Hitter: Brankica Mihajlovic (SRB)

2nd Outside Hitter: Zhu Ting (CHN)

1st Middle Blocker: Anna Danesi (CHN)

2nd Middle Blocker: Milena Rasic (SRB)

The Best Libero: Monica de Gennaro (ITA)

Re: @Logan Tom
Ni Yan is the best blocker in this competition. Her average block per set in the highest. And she scores more points than Anna Danesi. Ni Yan definitely is the 1st Middle Blocker in this competition. She deserved the title.

I think the dream team should has a relationship with the champion team. Logically a team can achieve a champion title if it had 3 key players (minimum).
By thinking this way, 3 players in Serbian Team should be nominated as a part of the dream team. The runner up should be lesser than the champion.

Brankica Mihaljovic, Maya Ogjenovic and Tijana Boskovic are deserve to get that award.
Brankica Mihaljovic always plays well in each match and in any position. Maya Ogjenovic always plays well too, even I can say that She is really the decision maker to attack.

What about maja, I think she deserved it more than the other setter, malinov was taken out of the games several times it doesn’t make sense.

I thought the same based on performance in the final match, but then I check the official stats for setters, and Malinov is #1 while Ognjenovic is #6, https://japan2018.fivb.com/en/competition/statistics

However, it is completely ridiculous that Serbia beat Italy twice in World Championship and still 4 players from Italy (2nd place) are in dream team, 2 from China (3rd place) and only 1 from Serbia (1st place)
