On March 21, in the first match of the CEV Champions League Playoff 6 against Igor Gorgonzola Novara, she got injured. In the first moment, it didn’t look so serious but at the end…

I was re-done with MRI, and unfortunately the result is not joyful – ligament ruptures, the operation and the way to recovery are ahead,” Tatiana Kosheleva said to Russian “RIA Novosti”.

The recovery period after such injuries is five to six months so Kosheleva will miss the World Championship which will be held from September 29 to October 20 in Japan.

Anothe example of overusage of players. They cannot resist more than 3-4 seasons playing for national team and club. WoV please make list of injured players in last period. Thank you for supportung volleyball

Re: @Sato They all played 15 years ago. I agree it was different preparation that time but also before they played 30 games per year, now they play minimum 45! And that is not human

FIVB became very greedy and overbooked the calendar. That’s exactly why plenty of best players are absent from the main competition. Look at the last year. After regular league season was over, it was World League final tournament, then Europian Championship, then new season started. A year before was the same with Olympic Games instead of Europian Championship. This year will be World Championship. Pure nonsense
