BRA W: Jaqueline, Thaisa and Skowronska in Barueri

2682 0

Volei Barueri is very close to announcing three big names for their squad in 2017/2018: middle blocker Thaisa Menezes Daher, receiver Jaqueline Carvalho and the Polish opposite Katarzyna Skowronska.

Thaisa and Jaqueline already train with the team of coach Ze Roberto while Skowronska is not on the list of registered players due to injury but coach announced that she will arrive in Brazil in the next week. She has already started the visa process.

Thaísa is recovering from the left knee surgery and she got a permission from her club Eczacıbaşı to go home on a loan until the end of the season. She has contract with the Turkish team until 2019.

TUR W: Ognejnovic to replace Nootsara in Fenerbahce!?

If Tomkom is kept for next season (though that seems unlikely in my opinion). Fenerbache should think of getting one of her younger NT member as a receiver/wing spiker back up. Even though they aren't as tall as their European counter part, they can receive well and attack too. I'm sure they would be cheaper to higher than most other European options or are they? lol...And they already have a connection with Nootsara, so maybe they can play some fast balls every now and then to score a few quick points too.
