Montes Claros vs. Taubate
The runners-up Taubaté came upon highly difficult test in the 7th round of Superliga but extended their winning streak to seven games (7-1). Montes Claros Vôlei were so close to making the biggest upset this season, so far, as they tied at 2-2 in sets after trailing 2-0 but Wallace Souza (24 points) & Co. proved to be more decisive in the most important moments of the game, like in the tie-break. Alexander Marczewski ’Alemão’ topped Montes Claros with 18 points.
The newcomers Sesc-RJ still don’t give up on the highest ambitions as they got a 6-1 record after sweeping JF Vôlei on the road, which was their 5th straight victory in Superliga.
