CL 2018 M: Drawing of Lots for the 2nd and 3rd Rounds completed

This morning at the CEV headquarters in Luxembourg, was held the Drawing of Lots for the 2nd and 3rd Rounds of the CEV Volleyball Champions League. The composition of the 4th Round pools will be announced at a later stage, namely at the annual European Volleyball Gala which is due to take place on November 16, 2017.

  

2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men 

With 12 teams already seeded in the 4th Round as per the latest European Cups Ranking List, another 20 will be trying to progress to the group stage of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men via the 2nd and 3rd Rounds scheduled for late October / early November. The eight teams joining Europe’s Volleyball elite will be determined by the outcome of the following fixtures:

2nd Round (teams listed first will play the first match at home, home matches October 18, away matches October 22, 2017)

OK Mladost BRCKO (BIH) vs. ACH Volley LJUBLJANA (SLO) 

Omonia NICOSIA (CYP) vs. Jedinstvo Bemax BIJELO POLJE (MNE) 

Maccabi TEL-AVIV (ISR) vs. Shakhtior SOLIGORSK (BLR) 

KV Luboteni FERIZAJ (KOS) vs. Abiant GRONINGEN (NED) 

3rd Round (teams listed first will play the first match at home, home matches November 8, away matches November 12, 2017)

After a major revamping ahead of the 2017 season, no changes at all have been made to the format of the CEV Volleyball Champions League for its 2018 edition, with 20 teams competing in 4th Round respectively. This will be followed by Playoffs 12 and 6 to determine the teams joining the hosts of the Final Four tournaments capping the European Cups season on May 5-6 2018.
