EUROVOLLEY 2017 W: Azerbaijan will play in quarterfinals!

After the victory over Germany, Azerbaijan took the first place in Pool A and a spot in the quarterfinals of the European Championship.


Even though the German team had 1-0 lead, Azerbaijan were strong enough to make a comeback and to win the game!

The trio from Azerbaijan were at the high level - Rahimova 20 points, Samadova 16 and Mammadova 15. In Germany Louisa Lippman has scored 26 points.

Germany will play against Bulgaria in the 1/8 finals, while Azerbaijan is playing against the winner of this clash in the quarterfinals.
