No.4 ČEZ Karlovarsko joined No.1 VK Jihostroj České Budějovice, whom they will face, No.2 VK Dukla Liberec and No.3 Kladno volejbal cz in the playoff semifinals.
Karlovarsko scored a four-set victory against the fifth-seed Volejbal Brno, partially 25-23, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, to seal the quarterfinal series with a 3-2.
Filip Rejlek topped the winning side with 17 points, while Tomáš Široký made 6 of 16 kill blocks that Karlovarsko had as a team. The Estonian Henri Treial served 4 aces. The Serbian Stefan Okošanović scored 19 points for Brno.
