Teodora Pusic
They were close to winning the championship trophy in Bundesliga, taking the silver medal in the playoff finals. In the CEV Cup, they reached the semifinals. Let’s ask Teodora about her first experience abroad.
You had your first season abroad – what are your impressions?
“It was a great experience for me. At some point playing far away from home wasn’t easy at all but on the other side all people from the club and all our fans helped me a lot.“
Did you got used to life in Germany?
„Sure I am. I met so many new people there. I really like the city. Shortly, I was happy there.“
How would you rate the German league – Bundesliga?
„I think the level of volleyball is at a high level and I think we proved that by reaching the CEV cup semifinals.“
What was missing the most from Serbia?
„My family and friends. … And moms kitchen,“ says Teodora with a huge smile.
Where would you like to play next season?
„We all know that the Russian and Turkish leagues are one of the strongest, so let’s say I would like to get a chance to play there. I am consulting periodically with my agency.“
You are currently a part of the Serbian national team – are you satisfied with the start in the new competition, VNL?
„We won 8 out of 9 games so I am more than happy with our current results. But there is a lot more to play and I believe that we can make it to the Final 6.“
How far can Serbia go at the World Championship?
„The final of the Volleyball Nations League, of course,“ says Teodora Pusic for WorldofVolley.
