BRA W: Minas and Praia Clube still share the first place!

The race between two Minas and Praia Clube for the top position has continued in the Brazilian women’s Superliga.

Both teams have scored the victories in the 14th round. Minas had a much easier game, finishing it in three sets, while Praia Clube barely prevailed over the rival.

So, Minas met Sesi Bauru and after three sets the rival had to surrender 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-19). Bruna Honorio was the best scorer with 14 points, while Natalia Zilio and Leao Mara scored 13 points each.

Nicole Fawcett was the most dominant player in Praia Clube’s difficult game against Brasilia. She has scored 28 points, while Carolina Silva had 19 points. On the other side, Colombo Renata had 21 points.

Israel Yonkaira led SESC RJ to the win over Sao Caetano with 17 points, while Ana Beatriz contributed with 13 points.

Barueri – Fluminense 3-1 (29-27, 25-27, 25-22, 28-26)

Minas – Sesi Bauru 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-19)

Praia Clube – Brasilia Volei 3-2 (25-27, 25-12, 17-25, 25-23, 15-10)

Balneario Camboriu – Curitiba 3-2 (20-25, 17-25, 25-14, 25-20, 15-13)

Pinherios – Osasco 0-3 (20-25, 20-25, 24-26)

SESC RJ – Sao Caetano 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-17)
