Vôlei Renata, also known as Campinas, recorded one more amazing win in the 2019/20 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season.

After upsetting Sesc RJ a week ago, Vôlei Renata recorded one more win over title favorites as they beat Sada Cruzeiro on the road in Round 5 of the 2019/20 Superliga Masculina regular season: 3-2 (25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 15-25, 18-16). Renata have revealed many weaknesses in the play of Cruzeiro, only three days prior to the FIVB Club World Championship, hosted exactly by Cruzeiro. Gabriel Vaccari and Renan Buiatti top-scored for the winning side with 22 points apiece, while Evandro Guerra tallied 23 points for Cruzeiro whose lead in the charts lasted for only three days.

EMS Taubaté Funvic and Sesi-SP noted straight-set victories each and settled at the first and second place, respectively, in the Superliga standings.

FRA W: RC Cannes sign outside hitter from Texas University

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
