Bauru Volei have announced their first signing for the 2016/17 season! The Brazilian club signed a contract with a 46-year old libero – Arlene Xavier.
Arlene started her volleyball career back in the 90s as a player of Minas. Since then, she has changed a lot of clubs, while she has also been a member of the Brazilian national team. Last season she spent in the Superliga B.
“I am very happy to join Bauru. I am very motivated and I cannot wait to start with trainings. The only thing I can guarantee is that I will play with great desire and joy,” said Arlene.
