As media reported in recent days, two quarterfinal encounters of the 2020 CEV Women’s Champions League have been postponed because of the spread of the coronavirus on the continent that most severely affected Italy. The duels that aren’t going to take place are between Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci and Turkey’s Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul, and between Fenerbahçe Opet İstanbul from Turkey and defending champions Igor Gorgonzola Novara from Italy.
The following games of European cups are also postponed: the quarterfinal rematch of the 2020 CEV Men’s Cup between Leo Shoes Modena (ITA) and GFC Ajaccio (FRA), and the 2020 CEV Women’s Cup quarterfinal rematch between the titleholders Unet e-work Busto Arsizio (ITA) and Dinamo Kazan (RUS).
Despite the fact that Polish Jastrzębski Węgiel officially requested the postponement of the 2020 CEV Men’s Champions League match against Italian Itas Trentino, CEV decided that these two will meet in accordance with the current schedule (Thursday, March 5, at 20:30 CET) and with the presence of spectators.

Jastrzębie decide to stay home.
I can see the CEV not taking to kindly to this decision by the Polish club and making them forfeit the match or matches.
I can understand Jastrzebie’s concern but the Italian government plainly said this match can happen and their is no concern in the Trento region of Italy. This match was approved.
