Serbia are keeping the home court untouchable even after the game against South Korea!

The Serbian girls have scored the second win in the Volleyball Nations League, beating South Korea 3-1 (15-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-14).

In front of the home fans, Serbia didn't open the game in a good way since the girls from Korea took the lead after convincing display in the first set 25-15.

However, as of the start of the second set, Serbia controlled the situation on the court to grab a victory.

Ana Bjelica was the best scorer with 19 points, while Mina Popovic contributed with 15 points. Sohwi Kang had the best display on the other side, finishing the game with 16 points.

Turkey joined the elite group of teams that have a perfect score after two days of competing in the first weekend as they beat the Netherlands by a 3-1 (25-22, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15) in Pool 4.

Last night a teenager Ebrar Karakurt shined for Turkey. Today, another prospect did the same. A 21-year-old outside hitter Hande Baladın scored game-high 21 points. Kübra Çalışkan made 5 of Turkey’s 18 kill blocks, while Zehra Güneş served 4 aces. Nicole Oude Luttikhuis was the best scorer in the Durch team, who suffered the second defeat in the tournament, with 15 points. Juliet Lohuis made 4 aces.

ITA M: Trentino secure signature of 3-time consecutive SuperLega top scorer Abdel-Aziz!

One of the best opposite hitters in the world right now. Trentino will have a hell of the power when it comes to finish the ball but will definetely struggle to receive it. Both Lucarelli and Kooy are easy targets to aim and were usually hidden behind a libero. Still seems like there will be top 3 clubs in Italy next season: Lube, Perugia, Trentino. Modena will be weaker for sure and will struggle to be in the top 6 and Piacenza may make a surprise. Reply

ITA M: Trentino sign newly proclaimed Italy National Team member Kooy

Dick Kooy is a really solid player who has been very consistent in his pro career. Gaining him and Rossini are very very good Italian additions. That being said the loss of Grebennikov, Russell and Kovacevic will be significant.
Ultimately I will cheer for a healthy uninterrupted A1 season....fans or no fans....We need to play volleyball!!! Reply
