Micaya-White

The 21-year-old American outside hitter Micaya White is the new member of Cannes. She has been the top scorer of the Longhorns in the NCAA before moving to Puerto Rico to play her first professional season at Criollas de Caguas in 2019. From there, she came to the team with most national titles in France (21).

White was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2017, at the end of her sophomore year at Texas. She was released on bail. A year ago, White was ordered to serve 18 months of community supervision and 40 hours of community service, as well as to get treatment for drinking.

Precisely. People are human. They make mistakes. Very often press and wrong or unfair as well as false reporting spoils somebody’s reputation. I know what I am talking about. Young players can make mistakes. Coaches and the rest of adults should be there to encourage and help young players towards their revlcovery from past mistakes not keep nailing the nail in… To make things worst. Amen.
