The five-time German women’s volleyball Championship winners Dresdner SC engaged a quartet of players who signed their first professional contracts.

The 21-year-old middle blocker Madeleine Gates is, for now, the last of four American youngsters that strengthened Germany’s Dresner in the same transfer market window. Interestingly, all four came from the most titled women’s volleyball program (9 trophies) in the NCAA Championship – Stanford University Cardinal.

Gates, thus, joined three more newcomers from the same college team that came earlier this summer: the setter Jenna Gray, libero Morgan Hentz, and opposite hitter Audriana Fitzmorris.
