In a match of the round in the Italian volleyball Serie A1, Perugia have made a comeback to defeat Trentino!

Wilfredo Leon

It was a super exciting team in Perugia, where the home team managed to recover after a poor display in the first set. Simply, Trentino didn’t allow them to develop the game the fans used to see throughout the previous seasons.

As of the start of the second set, Wilfredo Leon and Aleksandar Atanasijevic took the responsibility and led the team to the 3-1 victory!

Wilfredo Leon has ended the game with 26 points (4 aces) while Atanasijevic had 19 points (4 aces). On the other side, Aaron Russell had 15, while Uros Kovacevic and Srecko Lisinac had 12 points each.

Lube also had a difficult game against Verona away. They also had to make a comeback and managed to it and to win the game.

Tsvetan Sokolov was the top scorer with 22 points, while Simon Robertlandy had 21 and Osmany Juantorena 15. In Verona, Stephen Boyer had 31 points.

Modena have defeated Ravenna in four sets. We are singling out Tine Urnaut with 17 points as the best scores.

Siena are still waiting for a victory in Serie A1. They suffered a 3-2 defeat against Sora at the home court. Fernando Hernandes had an amazing display, scoring 34 points but it was not enough for the win. Yuki Ishikawa added 17, while on the other side Dusan Petkovic also had a great display, finishing the game with 27 points..
