ITA M: Lube barely survive in a game vs. Monza, Perugia and Modena keep the winning streaks!

Perugia, Modena, Trentino have scored 3-0 victories, while Lube Civitanova had a really difficult game against Vero Volley Monza.

 

Lube Civitanova were trailing twice in a game vs. Monza, but in the last two sets they somehow found the way and defeated Monza.

Osmany Juantorena and Tsvetan Sokolov have saved Lube from losing this game. The Cuban-born player has scored 25, while the Bulgarian opposite added 20.

Oleh Plotnyskyi had 24 in Monza, including 8 aces, while Amir Ghafour ended the game with 17.

As the fans of the reigning champions got used to it, Wilfredo Leon was the best scorer in Perugia’s win over Vibo Valentia with 15 points. The Serbian opposite Aleksandar Atanasijevic added 11.

Ivan Zaytsev led Modena to the win against Padova with 17 points. Trentino defeated Latina thanks to Uros Kovacevic and Luca Vettori, who scored 12 points each, Lisinac and Russell also contributed with 11 points each.

Probably because the final consisted of only two teams, so a dream team wouldn't really be representative of the champions league and a bit unnecessary, but that's just my opinion :) Reply
