The Italian website La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Modena is interested in signing a star player from the Russian champions Zenit Kazan.

It’s the U.S. outside hitter, Matt Anderson. However, the current champion of Russian wants to keep Matt and it’s going to be a difficult job to sign him.

Matt Anderson has been named as the best USA volleyball player of 2018 and the WoV Fans also voted him for the best player in the last year.

In 2018, Anderson won the Champions League, the national championship, national cup and Super Cup of Russia.

Ah the rumors and speculation period has arrived. Who is not asked back if Anderson comes? Bednorz, Van der Ent, Urnaut or Kaliberda?

That is a mighty hefty budget too if they keep the rest.

On a side note this is great news for the Super Liga and a great place for Anderson to wind down his prime years
