The present Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship winners Imoco Volley Conegliano engaged the country’s prospect.

Terry Enweonwu strengthened Imoco for the 2019/20 season. A 19-year-old player, who can cover opposite hitter’s and outside hitter’s positions, came to the Italian titleholders from Club Italia Crai, the last placed side in the league last season.

Enweonwu was named Best Opposite Hitter and MVP of the 2017 U18 European Championship and Best Opposite Hitter of the 2017 FIVB U18 World Championship. Enweonwu, a player of Nigerian origin and also a cousin of world volleyball superstar Paola Egonu (also signed with Imoco this summer), is currently engaged with Italy U20 national team who is preparing for the FIVB World Championship in this age (July 12-21).

This week, Imoco extended with young libero Eleonora Fersino and signed Germany national team outside hitter Jennifer Geerties from SSC Palmberg Schwerin.
