According to Italian media, famous Bulgarian male volleyball player Matey Kaziyski will change club in the next season.

According to iVolley Magazine, Matey Kaziyski and Italian club Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza reached an agreement for the next season. Bulgarian bomber, now in advanced age (36) for a volleyball player, spent the last three seasons in another SuperLega side, NBV Verona (and is tied to them for one more), while he showed his best while playing for Itas Trentino in the mid-2000s.

The news on the arrival of the one-time CEV Champions League and FIVB Club World Championship MVP isn't confirmed by Piacenza themselves yet.

ITA M: Perugia focused on bringing Grbić

He signed a 2-years contract with Zaksa last year. He won Polish Cup with them, not sure what happened so Zaksa lost the championship. They kicked out Lube and Zenit from the Champions League and have a good chance of becoming European champion although Trentino didn't win anything this year so this is their last chance.
He started his coaching career with Perugia so everything is possible... Reply

USA M: Russell undergoes surgery in US, will miss Tokyo Olympics

Russell had one of the best sports surgeons in the world work on him so I expect he will be in great hands. While devastating for any athlete Russell is young enough to have both Paris and Los Angeles in his Olympic future at very high level.
Piacenza is building something very special there and Russell is a perfect type of player and professional to attract others to come there and build around.
Wishing him a full and speedy recovery. Reply
