JPN W: Hisamitsu and JT Marvelous victorious, Jana Kulan pushes Toray close to the 3rd place

Hisamitsu Springs are keeping the first place in the Japanese Women’s League. They defeated Kurobe in straight sets for the 16th victory in the league.

It was an easy game for the reigning champions. Foluke Akinradewo and Yuki Ishii were the best scorers with 14 points each.

JT Marvelous have defeated the third-placed team Body QueenSeis in three sets, which helped Toray Arrows to come very close to the third place. Brankica Mihajlovic ended the game with 17 points for JT Marvelous, which was the best scoring display in her team, while Neriman Oszoy had 19 on the other side.

Jana Kulan was the most dominant player in Toray’s win over Ageo, scoring 23 points.

NEC RED Rockets – Hitachi 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-21)

Kurobe – Hisamitsu 0-3 (20-25, 23-25, 22-25)
