An Italian opposite hitter Valentina Diouf delivered… drumrolls… 45 points for KGC in the match against the leaders Hyundai in the 18th round of the 2019/20 Dodram V-League regular season! This was the season-high for her, but also the best single-game scoring output this season by any of the players in the competition. The ex-Italy National team member had a couple more brutal scoring displays earlier in the season.
However, Hyundai prevailed in the match, despite squandering a 2-0 lead in the sets: 3-2 (25-12, 25-22, 22-25, 24-26, 22-20). Yang Hyo-Jin scored 29 points for the winning side of which 11 came from the block!
