ESP M: Brazilian outside hitter continues a career in Spain

Santanderina Textile Volley have made its first signing for the season 2020/2021.


After the contract renewal of Calzón and Chimo Bárcena, it was time to make the first transfer for the new season.

It’s the Brazilian outside hitter Gabriel França. With his 1.95 cm, and having a very good career in Brazil, he decided to make a move to Europe, convinced to live his first season outside his country.

Last season he competed in the São Caetano Vôlei Ribeirão.

FRA W: RC Cannes sign outside hitter from Texas University

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
