Priscila Kenia Teixeira da Silva has decided to continue career in the Iranian women’s volleyball league.

The head coach of Sarmayeh Bank Mitra Shabaniyah was pleased after signing the Brazilian opposite.

“We have chosen her by the videos of her games. She is the opposite and we have signed a contract until the end of the season. She is a good player and by her perfect English she doesn’t have any problems in communicating with others. Our goal is to win the championship title, she is here to help us,” says coach of Sarmayeh.

Priscila da Silva (28, 182cm) was born in Santa Luzia MG. Read her first statement after becoming a member of this Iranian team:

I received a proposal to player for the team of Sarmayeh Bank. I thought that it would be a different experience in every aspect. But, it has motivated me to accept this challenge. When I got here the head coach was the first to talk with face to face. We are practicing hard and I’m trying to talk more with the girls. I hope that I’m going to adapt as soon as possible because there is a short time until the end of the current season,” says Brazilian player.

She is the fifth foreign player who has come to play in the Iranian league. In the last season, Priscila played in Sweden.
