POL M: Skra end losing streak by pushing Resovia to the edge, Zaksa stay unbeaten!

In a match of the round, PGE Skra Belchatow have defeated Resovia to end its losing streak and to keep the rival winless so far.


We must admit, both sides gave a huge effort and the home team was slightly better in this game.

Mariusz Wlazly had a stunning display, scoring 27 points for Skra, while Artur Szalpuk added 19 points. On the other side, Damian Schulz scored 22 and Thibault Rossard 21.

Zaksa have scored another victory in Plusliga to stay unbeaten and to keep the winning score. Sam Deroo was at the high level, finishing the game with 17 points.

Czarni Radom have kept the second position after defeating Chemik Bydgoszcz in four sets. Tomasz Fornal was the best scorer in Czarni Radom’s jersey, Bartosz Filipiak (22 points) and Bartlomiej Lipinski (20 points) were the top scorers on the other side.

Bedzin – Cuprum Lubin 1-3 (23-25, 14-25, 25-23, 21-25)

PGE Skra Belchatow – Asseco Resovia 3-1 (32-30, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21)

Zawiercie – GKS Katowice 3-1 (25-27, 25-22, 25-18, 25-23)

Probably because the final consisted of only two teams, so a dream team wouldn't really be representative of the champions league and a bit unnecessary, but that's just my opinion :) Reply
