POL W: Ferhat Akbas new coach of Chemik Police

Ferhat Akbas recently left Romania's CSM Bucharest team and signed with Poland side Chemik Police.


Ferhat Akbas, who won one league and a cup championship in the half and a season in CSM Bucharest, will serve in Poland next season. Following Marcelo Abbondanza's dismissal, Ferhat Akbaş became the head coach of Chemik Police.

Ferhat Akbas played against Chemik Police in the E group last season. CSM Bucharest won the first match 3-1, and the second match was won by Chemik Police 3-2.

In his earlier career, Ferhat Akbas coached Guangdong Evergrande, Turk Telekom, Galatasaray and VakifBank. From March 2015 to December 2016 Ferhat Akbas was the head coach of the Turkish Women's National Team.
