Italian Emanuele Zanini will command Polish men’s volleyball club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.

The 54-year-old Zanini has signed the contract with Resovia until the end of the current season.

The Italian expert has led, among others, clubs in Italy, Slovakia, Austria, and France. Actually, he was an assistant to Andrea Anastasi in the Italy Men’s National Team before starting his career as a head coach. Zanini commanded men’s national teams of Slovakia (won the CEV European League in 2008 and 2011) and Turkey, while he currently works in Croatia Men.

He’s familiar with coaching in the Polish PlusLiga as he led Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie in the 2017/18 season. Zanini replaced Piotr Gruszka, who left Resovia earlier.

ITA M: De Cecco has contract with Lube in his hands, Bruno going in opposite direction?

Re: @former_player
Agree on that, they could try getting Toniutti or Marouf, better choices in my opinion that De Cecco. Lube won a few days ago because of De Cecco's bad decisions, Perugia attackers were in much better mood that Lube's. Reply

Not sure this is a smart move on Lube's part. De Cocco is not the level of Bruno, Christenson and Giannelli. Maybe they should outside of Italy for great setter since they forced Christenson out who just signed a 3-year extension with Modena, and Giannelly is not leaving Trentino. Reply
