Budowlani-vs-LKS
The clash between the champions ŁKS and vice-champions Budowlani at the end of the regular season of the 2019/20 Siatkówki Kobiet was of great importance for the order in the table prior to the playoffs. Thanks to the victory, ŁKS was promoted to third place. They also have now gained the lead in mutual encounters with the city rivals as these two faced each other on 10 occasions in the top division before today’s encounter and both have won five times. Budowlani finally had their reinforcement from China in the roster. Ren Kaiyi came to the Łódź team after being stuck in Serbia for nearly a month. She was a starter today. Izabela Kowalińska top-scored for the reigning champions with 22 points, while Joanna Pacak made 6 kill blocks. Ukrainian Anastasiia Kraiduba put down 14 points for Budowlani.
Yesterday, Grupa Azoty Chemik Police secured the triumph in the regular season.
