The Brazil Men’s Volleyball National Team member Flávio Gualberto is to sign the contract with Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie.

The Polish side Aluron is about to finalize the transfer that can be considered a real hit in the PlusLiga. Although the club didn’t confirm the signing, the media in Poland got the information that Aluron are in the final stage of the talks with the Brazil National Team middle blocker Flávio.

The 27-year-old player has never played outside his home country, coming to the Polish top division from Sesc-RJ who ceased to exist. Last season Flávio was a revelation while competing in the jersey of Brazil Men, winning the FIVB World Cup and the South American Championship. In the latter tournament, he was awarded Best Middle Blocker.

TUR W: Fenerbahçe stage great comeback against Eczacıbaş, Lila Shengun steals the show

CHN M: Chinese federation gives in to pressure, male foreigners will play Super League

Great news on the Men's Super League. The Women's you referred to in the news is actually not the same with the Super League though. It is a separate tournament roughly called National Championships where the provincial teams compete for the top honour. Women's Super League won't start until much later. If foreign players are allowed in Men's tournament, then it only.makes sense the same would apply to the women's. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed! Reply
