One more player of the Polish men’s volleyball club Trefl Gdańsk was tested positive for coronavirus.

After one of the Trefl Gdańsk players received a positive result of the COVID-19 test on Friday, the entire team, the training staff, and the club’s employees and associates began isolation. However, today, the team received information about the second positive test result among players.

As in the case of the first infected player, due to the privacy protection, Trefl didn’t disclose the name of the second one either. Most players will be tested on Monday and Tuesday, but those athletes who didn’t feel well were tested before that.

The presence of a virus complicates the work and plans of the club. Trefl were forced to cancel the participation in the Summer Grand Prix, the beach volley tournament in which PlusLiga clubs participate and which started three days ago.

RUS M: Possible "transfer bomb" - Zenit St. Petersburg wants Wilfredo Leon!?

I don’t know. I like Perugia but Leon is not coming to his full potential. If has to play another year with Travica and/or Oleh then he can better leave the club. Aleksander is already leaving the club and that is horrible for SIR but yet again if he wants to play and live in Perugia than that’s it. But if he wants te achieve bigger thing Ian live with volleyball than he should leave. Reply
