Trefl
Trefl turned out to be fatal for the vice-champions Warszawa in the 2020/21 PlusLiga regular season. Trefl prevailed over the team from the country’s capital for the second time in only one week.
On October 28, the Gdańsk team was better in four sets, while today, it needed five sets to outplay the rivals – partially 25-17, 25-27, 14-25, 25-21, and 15:11. The match was valid for the 19th round and was played in advance.
Mariusz Wlazły was Trefl’s top scorer in the match with 21 points, though not through respectable attack percentage (47 %; 17/36). Michał Superlak led Warszawa, who lost third successive encounter in the PlusLiga, offensively with 24 points, including 4 blocks.
