POL W: Half of matches played, not a single defeat suffered – Developres at 11-0

Developres SkyRes Rzeszów maintained their invincibility in the 2020/21 Polish Women’s Volleyball Championship even though they played half of the matches in the competition.

 

Developres SkyRes Rzeszów completed the half of matches of the 2020/21 TAURON Liga regular season as an undefeated side. To the 11th win in as many games, the team commanded by the Frenchman Stéphane Antiga came by outplaying Polskie Przetwory Pałac Bydgoszcz in four sets, partially 25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Serbian Jelena Blagojević top-scored Developres with 15 points, while Gabriela Polańska set up 6 of the team’s 18 blocks. At the moment, Rzeszów based club has 12 points more than the closest followers in the standings, Grot Budowlani Łódź.

That is very stupid too, indeed. If we do a simple analysis we can find a lot of other very stupid things. Another one is uselessly continuing the set when the score difference is 10 points. Who has recovered from that? (I mean in the senior games, not in the underage games.)

The most stupid rule is each set has 25 points and teams only play serious game from point 15-16.
If sets had 15 or 11 points, they cared from first point, and didn't cause spectators to sleep. Reply
