Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle didn’t feel the bitterness of a defeat in the 2020/21 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship even after 10 matches.

Counting all competitions this season, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle didn’t lose a single game yet. Beating MKS Będzin on the road by a 3-1 (21-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-17), ZAKSA got to 10-0 in the 2020/21 Polish Men’s PlusLiga regular season, 12-0 overall. Kamil Semeniuk top-scored the winning side with 18 points.

With a win against Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom, the fifth in a row in the league, Trefl Gdańsk (Kewin Sasak 18 points, Bartłomiej Lipiński 5 aces, Marcin Janusz 4 blocks) moved up to second place in the charts, having five pointe fewer than the leaders ZAKSA.

FIVB, change the rule, please!

I agree with coach Kolakovic and the justifications he brings for changing this particular rule. I am convinced that most referees share his opinion too. Reply

Re: @Sorah
That is very stupid too, indeed. If we do a simple analysis we can find a lot of other very stupid things. Another one is uselessly continuing the set when the score difference is 10 points. Who has recovered from that? (I mean in the senior games, not in the underage games.)

Re: @Sorin Acela
The most stupid rule is each set has 25 points and teams only play serious game from point 15-16.
If sets had 15 or 11 points, they cared from first point, and didn't cause spectators to sleep. Reply
