The Latvian expert Boris Kolchin (original: Boriss Kolčins) returned to the post of the head coach of Belgorie after a long break.

He already worked in the Belgorod team and these were the days of the club’s biggest successes – at the beginning of an ongoing century. In tandem with legendary Gennadiy Shipulin (mostly as his assistant), Kolchin led Belogorye 5 times to the gold medal in the national championship, 4 times to the trophy in the national Cup, one time to the trophy in the national Super Cup, 3 times to the title in the CEV Champions League, and one time to winning the FIVB Club World Championship.

Apart from Belogorie, Kolchin worked as a head coach in Fakel with whom he won the CEV Challenge Cup once, while his last engagement before returning to Belogorie was in Dinamo Moscow, two seasons ago. Kolchin replaced Aleksandr Kosarev.

At the same time, Belogore announced their captain Aleksander Gutsalyuk left the team and will continue his career in Fakel. Belogorie are currently tenth-placed in the Superliga Parimatch, having achieved only four wins in 11 matches.
