Dinamo Moscow survived thriller in Saint-Petersburg in Round 14 of the 2019/20 Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship regular season.

The reigning champions Dinamo Moscow chased the lead in sets of the home side, and also a team fighting to avoid relegation Leningradka, 2 times before managing to outplay in the tie-break 3-2 (21-25, 25-23, 12-25, 25-19, 15-10) in Round 14 of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch regular season. Nataliya Goncharova top-scored for Dinamo with 21 points, while Irina Fetisova made 6 kill blocks. The youngster Sofiya Kuznetsova led Leningradka with 21 points. Belarussian Anastasiya Harelik made 5 kill blocks.

Fortunately, losing one point today won’t damage Dinamo a lot in their intentions to be in the top 4 at the end of the regular season knowing their closest followers in the charts Proton surprisingly lost to Minchanka (3-2). Uralochka-NTMK tied with the leaders Lokomotiv at 37 points after they beat Zarechie-Odintsovo in 4 sets.

FIVB releases new men’s and women’s world rankings

ITA M: Trentino secure signature of 3-time consecutive SuperLega top scorer Abdel-Aziz!

One of the best opposite hitters in the world right now. Trentino will have a hell of the power when it comes to finish the ball but will definetely struggle to receive it. Both Lucarelli and Kooy are easy targets to aim and were usually hidden behind a libero. Still seems like there will be top 3 clubs in Italy next season: Lube, Perugia, Trentino. Modena will be weaker for sure and will struggle to be in the top 6 and Piacenza may make a surprise. Reply
