RUSSIAN CUP W: Preliminary round over – semifinal pools determined

The preliminary stage of the 2020/21 Russian women’s volleyball Cup is over.


After five days of the competition, the preliminary round of the 2020/21 Kubok Rossii for women came to an end.

The 12 clubs of 22 that took part in the first stage of the competition have advanced to the semifinal stage: the top four teams from Zone 1 in Kaliningrad, the top three teams from Zone 2 in Ekaterinburg, the top three teams from Zone 3 in Kazan, and top two teams from Zone 4 in Lipetsk.

The semifinal pools are formed by the principle of four pools of three teams each. The pool winners will progress to the Final Four.

2020/21 Kubok Rossii, women, pools of semifinal round (October 29 – November 1):

Pool A: Dinamo-Ak Bars, Zarechie, Dinamo-Metar

Pool B: Lokomotiv, Leningradks, Lipetsk

Pool C: Uralochka-NTMK, Dinamo Krasnodar, Tulitsa

Pool D: Dinamo Moscow, Proton, Uralochka-2-UrGEU
