The Russian Men’s Volleyball top division side Gazprom-Yugra Surgut made a change in the roster for the second part of the 2017/18 season.

Surgut terminated the contract with the Serbian setter Mihajlo Mitić by mutual agreement, volleyball.it reported

The Russian Superliga club also decided to hire new foreigner but not for the vacant position. A 32-year-old outside hitter Goran Bjelica, Mitić’s compatriot, strengthened Surgut for the rest of the season. He arrived from Jedinstvo Stara Pazova and is a brother of a more famous Novica Bjelica, former Serbian National Team member.

Who cares about players health, about their rest? Who cares about fan´s' eyes, since we are forced to watch this pantomime volleyball, or not? Who cares that many matches are played in empty halls ? (Quantity clashes with quality.. ) The most important seems to be the business for some companies and for the management of FIVB, CEV, etc. This needs a complex solution. Reply
