A car that carried several members of the staff of the Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship winners VakıfBank was involved in the road accident on the highway in the city of Gemlik, near Bursa.


A car that was carrying a technical delegation of VakıfBank hit the roadside barriers in a highway near Bursa, Turkey, and flipped over due to a crash. Three people were injured in the accident. According to information from the Turkish media, the driver of the car that was traveling from Istanbul to Izmir lost control of the vehicle due to the slippery road.


The club social media published that the car driver Sabri Erdoğan, co-driver Üzeyir Erdurak (youth section coordinator) and Georgi Vasilev Bivolarski were injured in the accident. The ambulance transported injured persons to the Bursa City Hospital, while police have launched an investigation on the accident.
