One of the biggest derbies of the Turkish volleyball has closed Round 4 of the 2019/20 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season.

The players Ziraat Bankası threw the last ounce of strength into the fight against the home side Halkbank and turned the Ankara derby into their favor after being two sets down: 3-2 (21-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-6). Thus, Ziraat remained one of the three unbeaten sides in the league (4-0). On the other hand, nine-time Turkish champions Halkbank (three-time straight champions prior to the last season) continued their rather poor campaign (1-3).

Cuban Yadrian Escobar top-scored for Ziraat with 31 points, while Muhammed Ertuğrul made 5 kill blocks. Gökhan Gökgöz tallied 21 points for Halkbank.
