TUR M: Galatasaray end 4-game losing streak to settle at No.3 in charts

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta managed to end their four-game losing streak in the 2019/20 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season.

 

Only five days after beating the leaders of the 2019/20 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season - Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta – Spor Toto disappointed their fans by losing to Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in a direct duel for the third position in the charts. The match was valid for Round 19. With the win that ended their four-game losing streak, Galatasaray came into a situation to even fight for the second place in the remaining three rounds of the regular season.

Estonian Oliver Venno led the winning side with 16 points, while Selçuk Keskin made 5 kill blocks. Brazilian Leonardo Nascimento “Leozinho“ scored 12 points for Spor Toto.

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
