Ogbogu-and-Thompson
According to Gian Luca Pasini, Eczacıbaşı will hire an American duo of players. Chiaka Ogbogu has been chosen for the role of middle blocker. This season, she wore the jersey of Italy’s Imoco Volley Conegliano. Together with her, the “Tigers” are ready to hire youngster Jordan Thompson, who has just completed her premiere professional season, playing for Eczacıbaşı’s home title rivals Fenerbahçe Opet.
Volley News added that these two will replace an existing American duo: the setter Carli Lloyd and the middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer.
