TUR M: Cuban outside hitter’s duo joins newcomers in Turkish top division

The newly-promoted club in the Turkish men’s volleyball championship, Haliliye Belediyesi, engaged a Cuban duo.


Haliliye are entering the next season, in which they will make the debut in the Turkish Championship, highly ambitiously.

They announced the signatures of a Cuban outside hitter’s duo: Yosvany Hernández and Yordan Bisset (can also play as an opposite hitter). The former came from South Korea’s Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, while the latter spent the last season in France’s Narbonne.

RUS W: Karpol enters Guinness World Records!

Watching Nikolay Karpol and Yevgeni Trefilov (handball, head coach of the Russia women's national team) during the timeouts always made me feel sorry for these girls and was amusing at the same time.
