Galatasaray-vs-Altekma
After nearly shocking Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta in the previous round of the 2020/21 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season, the newcomers Altekma went all the way in a duel against other favorites in Round 3.
The club from İzmir downed Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in five sets, partially 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 26-24, and 15-12. Brazilian Hugo Hamacher top-scored for Altekma with 24 points. Burutay Subaşı collected 26 points for Galatasaray, while Doğukan Ulu made 6 blocks.
Fenerbahçe needed five sets to record a win for the second match in a row.
Spor Toto have passed a road from a defeat in the opening round, over a hard-fought victory in the previous round, to sweeping rivals in Round 3.
