Nilüfer Bld. don’t joke this season in the Turkish women’s volleyball Championship as they downed Fenerbahçe Opet in Round 4.

Nilüfer crowned their excellent start of the 2020/21 Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi regular season by taking down the biggest “scalp” so far – Fenerbahçe. The team from Bursa prevailed in a two and a half long thriller on the road: 3-2 (25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 15-13) and now have four wins in as many games. American Sarah Wilhite led the winning side with 25 points, Yasemin Yıldırım made 5 kill blocks and served 4 aces. Cuban Melissa Vargas put down 36 points for Fenerbahçe, including 4 aces.
