TUR M: Fenerbahçe record 8th successive win, Ziraat take 3 points after leaving quarantine

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and Ziraat Bankkart emerged victoriously from matches of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship that were postponed earlier.

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta recorded an eighth successive win in the 2020/21 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season. The Istanbul side was better than Haliliye Bld. by a 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23) in Round 9. Canadian Nicholas Hoag led Fenerbahçe in scoring with 20 points.

The Ziraat Bankkart players went out of quarantine after a month and re-debuted in the league with a four-set victory over Afyon Bld. Yüntaş (fourth defeat in a row) in a match valid for Round 6. The Ankara team was highlighted by the Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat (22 points). Burakhan Tosun added 4 aces and 4 blocks.
