TUR M: Fenerbahçe and Arkas extend huge winning streaks

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and Arkas Spor extended their huge winning streaks in the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship.


With the ninth win in a row (3-0 vs Bursa B.şehir Bld.), to which they were pushed by Cuban Salvador Hidalgo (17 points) and Halil İbrahim Kurt (4 blocks), Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta kept the leadership of the 2020/21 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season (12-1; 33 points).

They are followed in the charts by Arkas Spor. The İzmir club (Baturalp Burak Güngör 26 points, Efe Mandıracı 5 blocks) noted the sixth successive victory by downing Altekma and ending rivals four-game run.

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta (Puerto Rican Maurice Torres 21 points) ended their own three-game losing streak.

Tokat Bld. Plevne (Brazilian-Qatari Geraldo Filho 16 points) swept Solhan Spor and prolonged their series of victories to four.

I don’t know. I like Perugia but Leon is not coming to his full potential. If has to play another year with Travica and/or Oleh then he can better leave the club. Aleksander is already leaving the club and that is horrible for SIR but yet again if he wants to play and live in Perugia than that’s it. But if he wants te achieve bigger thing Ian live with volleyball than he should leave. Reply
