The U.S. volleyball star Matt Anderson might play as an opposite in the season 2019/2020.

You are probably wondering why he would do it? It’s because the U.S. Volleyball Federation has allegedly asked him to play in this role, one year before the start of the Olympic Games, as he could be at the highest possible level.

Matt Anderson is usually playing as an outside hitter during the club’s season, while in a jersey of the USA, he is playing as an opposite.

This is not official but if this info turns out to be true, Matt Anderson will have to change the club, since the place of the opposite in Zenit Kazan is guaranteed for Maxim Mikhailov.
