A 24-year-old U.S. national team player Thomas Jaeschke ruptured his left anterior cruciate ligament in the game against Serbia on Week 4 of the 2018 FIVB Nations League.

The examinations performed in Chicago have determined the nature of his injury but have not yet established the recovery time which will be known only after the surgery which the outside hitter will undergo in the coming days.
